The Bold and The Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and recap for Friday, October 8, 2021, reveals Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) tries to shield her father from the wrath of Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) takes full responsibility. He did his time and got out for good behavior. Ridge says no one is buying his father-of-the-year routine. Ridge and Brooke want to protect Hope from Deacon. They hoped they were finally free of him, but fear Hope is vulnerable to the cons of a liar and thief.

Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is irked that his perfect wife has been hiding her correspondence with Deacon. Hope kept her letters to her father a secret because she knew her family would rain down hell on his head, just like they’re doing. In spite of everything, Deacon is still Hope’s father.

Brooke bans Deacon from seeing Hope again. Hope refuses her mother’s demand that she tell Deacon he can’t be a part of her life. Deacon pleads that Hope is a grown woman who can make her own decisions. He’s so proud of Hope’s success.

Liam asks Deacon to leave and draws the line at him meeting his granddaughter.

Hope apologizes for blindsiding her family. Deacon bows out and promises to leave. He doesn’t want to cause Hope trouble. He thinks about her all the time and will never stop loving her.

After Deacon leaves the cabin, Brooke lays into her daughter for her recklessly allowing him back into their lives. Liam questions Hope’s thinking that it was safe to bring him into their home. Ridge says Hope doesn’t need that low-life criminal.

B&B Spoilers – Finn Wants Romance

At the cliff house. Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) sets the scene for romance with his wife. He cleans the living room and lights candles for Steffy Forrester Appreciation Day. Finn says that Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is his world. Steffy is happy to spend the evening alone with her husband. A crying baby interrupts their passionate kisses. Hayes Forrester (Samantha Worden) doesn’t want to miss out on anything. Finn tells Hayes one of his dad jokes to fall back to sleep.

When Finn returns, Steffy says they’re pretty good at the marriage and kid thing. They’re past all the hard stuff. Steffy kills Finn’s mood by bringing up Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). Hopefully, Sheila got the message that she can’t be part of their family. Steffy cuddles Hayes when he cries again. Steffy makes it clear that Finn can have no communication with Sheila. Finn flashes back to the text from Sheila.

Hope says that having children compelled her to reach out and try to understand her own father better. Brooke says she can’t believe one word out of Deacon’s mouth. Hope cries that they don’t trust her judgment. His past doesn’t change the fact that Deacon is her father.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Daddy’s Home

Liam says Deacon has only ever failed her, so why would they let him do it again? Brooke asks her to cut ties with her father. Hope believes Deacon is not irredeemable. Ridge believes Deacon is a lost cause. Deacon will cause chaos in their family.

Deacon bellies up to the bar and orders a tequila soda and lime, the starting point for all great decisions. Sheila sits down beside him and orders a dirty martini. They recognize each other. Deacon asks if they kicked her out of the mental ward for being too crazy. Sheila says they must have kicked him out for being an idiot. Deacon says he had the guards wrapped around his finger. Sheila hasn’t forgotten that he almost got her thrown in prison for shooting at Quinn, which was Deacon’s doing. Deacon claims to be a boy scout compared to her. The Forrester’s dislike him but she’s number one on their list of despised enemies.

Sheila wonders why he’s in a lousy mood if he’s been released. Deacon says Hope and Ridge are keeping him from a relationship with Hope. Sheila says they have a lot more in common than they thought. He can’t see his daughter and she can’t see her son. Deacon asks if she adopted a turtle. Sheila isn’t amused. She explains that her son married Steffy. Deacon and Sheila trash the high-and-mighty Forrester’s.

Sheila proposes a partnership so they can both get what they want. Deacon is creeped out that Sheila wants to work together. Sheila asks if he’s going to let the Forrester’s win. Sheila isn’t going to give up on being in her son’s life. They’re going to be with their children again. Deacon is freaked out as Sheila cackles that the Forrester’s don’t stand a chance against Sheila and Deacon united.
