Are Prince Harry and Meghan Markle struggling to keep up with Kate Middleton? Who will make the most positive impact in the world? The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge or the retired senior royals the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The Sussexes have tried to establish themselves as a competition against the Cambridges even while they are based in America.
Prince William’s Earthshot Project Outshines Harry And Meghan’s Speeches On Climate Change
Recently, Harry and Meghan attended a Global Citizen Event in New York where they encouraged world leaders to make vaccine accessibility a basic human right. Apart from the pair’s support for global vaccine reach, they also support such important causes like climate change, female empowerment and reducing poverty worldwide.
Prince William, on the other hand, is contributing immensely to climate change with his Earthshot Prize. The award will sponsor the biggest and brightest projects that will make a huge impact on building a sustainable planet in the coming decade. From the restoration of nature, cleaning the air from all the substances we release into it in massive amounts, reviving our oceans and building a waste-free world, the project’s impact is expected to make the future of our planet cleaner and more sustainable.
Prince William will also be speaking during the upcoming Cop26 event taking place in Glasgow. Other senior royals expected to make an appearance at the climate change conference are the Queen and Prince Charles.
Kate Middleton is focused on building and extending the reach of her childhood development project, which aims to give children under the age of 5 the attention they need in order to have them grow up as emotionally stable adults.
It is also expected to combat mental health challenges that these children might face as young adults and adults. The Duchess believes that these are the crucial years in a child’s life and calls for special attention to be paid during those “early years”.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been accused by royal experts of only giving speeches while William and Kate take action, often with a global impact.
Royal Commentator Blasts Prince Harry And Meghan
Experts have started to speculate that Harry and Meghan are becoming jealous of William and Kate’s growing influence in the political world.
Recently, royal expert and commentator Jonathan Sacerdoti chatted with Express on Meghan and Harry’s diminishing influence in regards to Kate and William’s growing influence.

“I think Harry and Meghan would probably love to attend COP26,” he was quoted saying. “They are keen to be seen as activists operating in the fields of all the most pressing social issues of our time.”
“Obviously many people have called into question their sincerity on the issue of climate change in light of their extensive use of private jets, including recently when they flew back from their filming trip in New York and before that when Harry flew in a private jet to go and play polo away from home.”
He added: “I imagine that the ex-working royals, Harry and Meghan, would be quite jealous of their somewhat estranged family being so noticeable at a time like this, supporting an important cause they otherwise like to claim for themselves.”
“Having stepped away from royal duties and having left the country altogether, they can’t expect to attend important events and gatherings in the UK as they might have done had they stayed in the Firm.”
“I can’t imagine they can attend as well as the rest of the family. That would be too awkward, and the reunion would totally upstage the event itself. At least if they aren’t going, the planet will be spared the carbon emissions from their private jet journey!”
