British royal family news teases that Meghan Markle has never met a designer outfit she doesn’t like. Case in point, her recent “charitable” NYC trip that she treated like one giant photo op with outfit changes every 15 minutes. Given her penchant for excess, who is warning her about the negative effect her extravagance is having on her reputation?

Former BBC Royal Correspondent Jennie Bond thinks that the citizens of the UK detest seeing the royals spend like there’s no tomorrow. She told Yahoo!Life that Meghan went on a spending spree after she married her Prince Charming, aka Hollywood Prince Harry and she has a point.

She said, “What I think that Meghan has to be careful of is that she’s so, pretty much A-list celebrity as well as senior royal. I am getting the feeling that the public don’t like her terrifically spending huge quantities of money.”

“Being extravagant, massively extravagant, she can afford it, she is a wealthy woman, but it doesn’t play very well, so I think she needs to just watch that.”

It doesn’t seem like Meghan got the memo. In fact, it seems like Meghan could be about to make an even bigger splash in the celeb pond. According to The Sun, “She was recently seen visiting to the estate of a beauty marketing firm executive in a hint she may be about to launch her own cosmetic line.”

She reportedly, “made visits to Guthy-Renker co-founder Bill Guthy’s home in Carpinteria, California, with husband Prince Harry, 37, and her mum Doria several times between February and March.”

The best part about being able to buy the same makeup and trowel that Meghan uses? The fact that the firm she may be doing business was banned in the UK for among other things, making customers’ hair fall out.
