The Bold And The Beautiful Comings And Goings: Hunter Tylo’s Taylor Recast With Krista Allen

The Bold and the Beautiful comings and goings reveal a big character heading back onto the canvas. Thomas and Steffy Forrester’s mother, Taylor Hayes, will be making a major return but she won’t be played by Hunter Tylo, the actress who originated the role and brought Taylor to life off and on for decades. Instead, Days of Our Lives alumni Krista Allen has been cast.

Fans have been clamoring for Taylor’s return for nearly three years. Ever since she was the one responsible for Steffy inadvertently adopting Beth, Hope and Liam’s baby, and naming her Phoebe after her dead twin, Taylor has been needed. Where was she when the fallout in the baby switch came? After all, she was the one fooled by Reese Buckingham into thinking this was a legal adoption.

Now that Sheila Carter is back, it’s time to see these two rival characters face to face and B&B is finally going to make that happen.

B&B Spoilers – A Surprise Recast

Krista Allen will make her The Bold and the Beautiful debut on December 10 and begin taping scenes this week with Jacqueline MacInnes Wood’s Steffy and Thorsten Kaye’s Ridge. Allen is known to soap fans as the second Billie Reed on Days of Our Lives, a role she played in the 90s after taking over for Lisa Rinna, who recently reprised Billie on Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem. After the news of her new gig broke, she took to Twitter to say how thrilled she was.

“This is gonna be a fun one!” Allen tweeted. “Very excited to step into this iconic role and be back on Daytime after 25 years! … Omg T-W-E-N-T-Y F-I-V-E years?”

Word is B&B did reach out to Tylo to reprise the character she last played back in 2018, but she turned down the opportunity. Tylo is also mourning the death of her ex-husband, Michael Tylo, the longtime soap vet who passed away from cancer in September.

What will Tylor do when she arrives back in town remains to be seen. She will clearly reunite with her ex-husband and children, but will she go head to head with Sheila and Brooke, two of her biggest longtime enemies?
