If Gwen doesn’t want to lose Xander, then she has to find a way to get Kristen out of jail. O’Brien explained to Soap Opera Digest,

“If Gwen does not help Kristen break free, Kristen will tell Xander, which means that Xander will want to leave Gwen and go find Sarah… She doesn’t want to lose the person that she loves. She also doesn’t want the threat [of Kristen looming over her].”

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Xander finds out that Sarah is stranded on an island. It seems that Gwen must tell Xander about Kristen’s threat. Xander knows that Kristen isn’t someone Gwen should cross. At the same time, if Sarah didn’t run off with Rex and is really being held captive, then Xander needs to do something.

Xander doesn’t leave Gwen – at least, for the time being. Xander also doesn’t let Sarah stay on that deserted island. What the semi-reformed bad boy does is turn to someone for help. That individual is Xander’s friend and Sarah’s mother, Maggie. Xander asks Maggie to help Gwen with this situation.

When Maggie finds out about Sarah’s situation and Kristen’s threat, she will take action. It is suggested that Maggie and Gwen join forces to help Kristen break out of prison.
