Days of Our Lives Spoilers tease that the Devil may not be the only one stirring things up in Salem. Abigail Devereaux (Marci Miller) is all set to play Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) in a movie based on the first time the Marlena was possessed by the devil. Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) is determined to make his movie chronicling one of the darkest times in Salem’s history. Of course, Marlena has once again been possessed. It remains to be seen what impact the Devil’s return has on the upcoming film.

Johnny was asked Abigail to play to role of Marlena in the new film. But given Abby’s history with DID, taking on an acting role may not be the best thing for Abby’s mental health. Abby has had a few alters up until now, based on real life people that Abby knows, such as Gaby Hernandez (Camilla Banus). “Gabbi” as Abby called herself, fell in love with Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and it almost ruined her marriage to Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). Another one of Abby’s alters was “Dr. Laura” who was based on Abigail’s grandmother, the since deceased Laura Horton (Jamie Lynn Bauer).

DOOL Spoilers – Could Acting As Dr. Marlena Evans Cause Abigail Devereaux To Form Another Alter?

Since Abigail’s alters are usually based on people who are still alive, could she swap out “Dr. Laura” for “Dr. Marlena”? Since Abigail is going to play a role based on Marlena’s life, it is quite possible that Abigail might blur the lines between the movie and reality. The more into the role of Marlena that Abby gets, the more likely she may start to believe that she is Marlena. Especially because Marlena herself is possessed once again.

MarDevil might even use her demonic powers to push Abby back to the brink of insanity? And what better way than to have Abby believe that she is the real Marlena. This could cause some serious issues in her marriage to Chad, as well as create conflict with John Black (Drake Hogestyn). If Abigail begins to see herself as the real Marlena, it will cause trouble for the whole town of Salem!
