General Hospital spoilers tease that a full day is planned for Oscar Nero Quartermaine’s (Garren Lake Stitt) memorial service; and Oscar planned it all ahead of time himself!
GH Spoilers: Ned Quartermaine Reveals Oscar Nero Quartermaine’s Funeral Plans
General Hospital previews for Monday show Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), with wife Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) telling a grieving Drew Cain (Billy Miller) and Dr. Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) that their son had been way ahead of them, and had planned his service in great detail before he died.
In the preview, Kim appears to be holding an urn, so General Hospital viewers have to wonder if Oscar even planned that part of it out as well, and maybe wanted to be cremated and his ashes scattered over Mount Kilimanjaro, which he and Drew never got the chance to climb together, or if he wanted to be buried and possibly donate his organs.
General Hospital Spoilers: Will Oscar Nero Quartermaine’s Organs Be Donated?
Oscar never got a drivers’ license so he could not have specified it there; doctors may be hesitant to transplant from a cancer patient anyway, although organ donation websites do say a brain cancer patient can be an organ donor if all other parts of the body pass the organ donation screening tests.
Oscar was indeed a unique young man, and mature beyond his young years, wanting to spare his parents and girlfriend Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) undue stress and grief by planning his own memorial service ahead of time.
General Hospital viewers will recall that he had asked Ned and Olivia to make sure that his wishes were carried out; and he asked his uncle, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to be the executor of his estate. Oscar was a planner, although he certainly never planned to die this young, at only sixteen years old!

GH Spoilers: Cameron Webber Records Goodbye Message For Oscar
General Hospital viewers will recall that he had his friend Cameron Webber (William Lipton) record him leaving a message for Josslyn to be played after he died; it is possible that he recorded other messages as well for various friends and family to be played for them also; or the original message may have been extended beyond Joss to others as well.
It’s likely a recorded message might be played at his memorial service if that’s what he indicated he wanted; stay tuned to General Hospital and keep checking General Hospital spoilers frequently for all the latest news, updates and developments!
