There is no rational debate when it comes to Steffy’s take on Deacon. It is a stretch, at best, for Wood’s alter ego to believe that Liam’s genetic link to (Avalon and Colette Gray) Kelly gives Steffy the ability to set the rules regarding who has access to Lope’s life.

Liam speaks passionately about his pet issues. He also has a lot to say about other people’s choices. This point is one reason why he and Steffy did not get along, as they share that personality trait.

Liam’s mind is not open to Deacon’s claimed reformation because he is concerned for Hope. Steffy is also on solid ground when chiding Deacon’s past misdeeds.

Steffy is right about Sheila. Whether Finn’s birth mother can maintain a steady course is highly questionable. But Deacon is a different calculation.

Hope and Steffy worked hard to build a connection. That was quite an accomplishment, considering the Liam-based battle these ladies had through the years.

Noelle’s character is right to want to give her father a chance to create a better life. But she has to keep Liam’s feelings in mind while also realizing that Steffy will influence Clifton’s character because of Kelly.
