B&B Spoilers And Recap Monday, December 20: Ridge Is Miserable, Brooke Fears Taylor

The Bold and The Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and recap for Monday, December 20, 2021, reveals in Los Angeles at the cliff house where Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) walks out on Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and lands on Taylor Hayes’ (Krista Allen) doorstep. Taylor listens quietly as Ridge complains that Brooke is defending her ex-lover and isn’t listening to Ridge. He doesn’t want Brooke getting sucked into Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) vortex. The only thing Deacon has brought into her life is pain.

Ridge longs for someone to talk to, who understands and listens to him. Taylor offers to be there to listen to her ex-husband anytime. Taylor misses Ridge’s smile. Ridge hopes he’ll be smiling more now that she’s back. Taylor kicks herself for living in the past—she has so many special memories of her time with Ridge and their family. Ridge says her family isn’t going anywhere. She reaches out to grab his hand and he doesn’t pull away.

Ridge and Taylor reminisce about Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) and her support of their relationship. Ridge calls Doc a remarkable woman. Taylor reminds Ridge that Brooke has been giving him high highs and low lows for years. Taylor confesses that she’ll always love their memories together and will always love Ridge.

Deacon advises Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) to give her mother a little space while she sorts out her disagreement with Ridge. Deacon blames the fight on Ridge’s tantrum because he isn’t getting his way. Ridge can’t get Brooke to see Deacon the way he does. Deacon swears he didn’t want to cause problems.

B&B Spoilers – Brooke Logan Upset Ridge Forrester Walked Out

Brooke comes downstairs and says Ridge isn’t answering his calls. Brooke is forlorn because Ridge walked out. Hope is angry that Ridge is being stubborn when Brooke is bending over backwards to be sensitive to his needs. Brooke takes up for his husband: he’s doing the best he can in a difficult situation.

Brooke fears Taylor will be sticking around this time. Taylor couldn’t have picked a worse time now that Brooke and Ridge are having difficulties in their marriage. Hope wonders if Taylor will take advantage of the situation. Brooke says Taylor better not disrespect her marriage. Brooke believes in Ridge and their relationship, but she’s not naïve to Ridge’s pull toward the mother of his children. Brooke has a bad feeling that Taylor is still in love with Brooke’s husband after all these years.

At Forrester Creations, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) finds her brother alone in the office and teases him about losing his touch with the beautiful models. Steffy is happy their mother is home. Steffy has no doubt that Taylor is still in love with Ridge. Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) wants Taylor to be happy and feels bad that Ridge is married to Brooke. Steffy and Thomas are tired of watching their father frustrated by Brooke’s messes.

Steffy believes the timing of Taylor’s return is providential: Ridge is miserable because of Brooke and Taylor can ride to the rescue. Thomas says Brooke is rubbing salt in Ridge’s wounds by allowing Deacon to shack up at their home. Steffy says their father needs their mother more than anything.

Thomas promises to talk to Hope about bringing Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) to see Taylor. Steffy says Thomas doesn’t need Hope’s permission to bring his son to see his grandmother. Steffy goes home to check on their mom.

Steffy watches happily from the window as Ridge and Taylor embrace.
