Neighbours spoilers and updates reveal a new face is coming to Erinsborough! After months of being name dropped by her mother, Amy Greenwood, (Jacinta Stapleton) Zara is finally coming to town.

When Amy first hears the news she’s delighted. She’s aware that she has never been the most present parent, especially since she worked in the airline industry and then moved to Erinsborough. Amy therefore wants to take the opportunity to prove herself to Zara, and finally be there for her daughter.

Neighbours Spoilers – Reunion On A Strange Note

That’s the plan, anyway. It’s made hard when their reunion starts on a strange note, as Zara walks in on her mother in bed with Levi and Ned. Amy tries to keep it cool and brush it off, but really it makes her feel very awkward about telling her daughter about her polyamorous relationship. Amy wanted to break it carefully to Zara, not knowing how understanding or mature she would be about her non-confirming relationship and the intricate nature of it.

However, realising that Zara will soon find out from neighbours and friends that Amy is in a polyamorous relationship (and wasn’t just having a threesome), Amy decides to pluck up the courage to tell her daughter the truth.

Neighbours Spoilers – Conflicted Reactions

Unfortunately, it goes exactly how Amy feared it out. Zara doesn’t take the news well. In fact, she’s horrified and doesn’t want to share her mother’s attention with one man, let alone two.

Zara’s reaction makes Amy very conflicted. On one hand, after so long away from her daughter, she wants to reconnect and have no issues in the way for them. However, she knows that making Zara her main priority and therefore taking her focus away from Ned and Levi could mean she would lose them both.
