The Duke of Sussex and “The Late Late Show” host James Corden have become close friends, reports the Express. As a result of that friendship, Prince Harry even appeared on Corden’s talk show several months ago. But now rumors have soared that Harry will actually take over as host for James.

Royal family expert Neil Sean revealed the reason for Harry hosting the “The Late Late Show” in place of Corden. And according to Sean, even the CBS network has become involved in the plot. “One of the ideas that they’re floating around over at CBS is the fact that Prince Harry, for one night only, could simply take over The Late Late Show which is hosted by James Corden,” revealed the royal family commentator. 

If The Duke of Sussex hosts the show, Sean speculated that Harry could copy Corden’s style successfully. And the royal family expert also claims that the show could help the Duke launch his memoir. 

“When you think about it does make perfect sense simply because they’re good chums,” noted Sean. “And, of course, it would be a great way for Prince Harry to sell that book directly to the American public. They could film some sort of skits and jokes, the type of thing that happens on these late-night shows.”

Sean admits that some may disbelieve this theory. But the royal family commentator pointed out that the Duke of Sussex needs to begin work on selling his book. “Now a lot of people may skip and say, ‘oh, this won’t happen.’ Let’s not forget he does have to do something to sell the book. It can’t be all serious, they need to be able to show a fun side.” And the talk show would give Harry the ideal opportunity to show his wit while boosting his book sales.

Thus far, Prince Harry has limited marketing his memoir to discussing it in interviews. Promising his book will provide an “accurate and wholly truthful” account of his life, the Duke of Sussex added that it focuses on his “experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons.”

Harry’s book will become available in 2022 during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. In discussing his memoir, the Duke of Sussex shared his vision for his book. “My hope is that in telling my story – the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned – I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to share what I’ve learned over the course of my life so far,” stated Prince Harry.
