Coronation Street Spoilers – Beverly Callard Quit
When Beverly Callard quit “Coronation Street” last 2019, she stated as documented by Birmingham Live: “I was in shock, I felt totally numb. I’ve been told Liz is going to go with one hell of a bang. I can’t wait!”
The Corrie alum already shut her doors to the cobbles forever after playing Liz for 31 years and confirmed her decision in her previous interview with the media. She stated that the lockdown caused her to reflect in her life, and that she wanted to be more like herself, rather than working on set for 12 hours a day and 48 weeks a year.
“But I always said, when asked if I was coming back, ‘Never say never’. But this time it is ‘never’ – no I won’t go back again… I want more time to be me,” she told Digital Spy.
