Y&R Spoilers: Chelsea Newman May Make A Return Now That Adam Newman Has Been Recast

After Mark Grossman was announced as an Adam Newman recast, many viewers wondered if the show might bring back Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) as well. They’ve been a popular duo for the CBS soap, so plenty of “Chadam” supporters were rooting for Chelsea to pop up again.

Thankfully, it wasn’t long until Egan’s return was announced. However, that left everyone with a different question: Would the new version of “Chadam” have chemistry? You never really know until the actors are onscreen together, but a new picture certainly suggests they’ve got some sizzle!

Egan gave a little sneak peek of what’s to come through an Instagram post, which featured a photo of her standing next to Grossman. The caption said, “Well well well, what do we have here… #chadam #yr.” Many viewers were quick to chime in on Instagram as well as Twitter, where Egan also shared this fun glimpse.

“Dangerously sexy,” said one fan. “Loving #Chadam 3.0 already. Another “Young and the Restless” watcher gushed, “Great picture and about freaking time you came back!!” One more fan said, “You two look Hot” and added a fire emoji to convey her enthusiasm. Others weren’t quite sold, but Grossman and Egan deserve the opportunity to show us what they’ve got!

Y&R Spoilers: Lindsay Godfrey Comments On Social Media Post

Linsey Godfrey, who plays Dr. Sarah Horton on Days of Our Lives, decided to share her thoughts on the pic, too. “YOURE SUCH A BABE!! I’m sorry for yelling,” Godfrey teased. Chrishell Hartley (Jordan Ridgeway on Days of Our Lives) happens to be married to the previous actor who played Adam, Justin Hartley. She also gave her approval by tweeting a GIF that said, “Ship It.”

It’s smart for Egan to put up this pic and generate some “Chadam” buzz before her summer comeback. Of course, “The Young and the Restless” spoilers for June 3 reveal that Chelsea remarried and let her new husband adopt Connor Newman (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois) – at least that’s what Chelsea claims. It should be interesting to see what convinces Chelsea to resurface.
