Piers Morgan Wants To Know Why Meghan Markle Ghosted Him

It looks like Piers Morgan just can’t get over this one. The British television personality still wants an explanation as to why Meghan Markle apparently ‘ghosted’ him several years ago. Even though it’s been a long time since they’ve been in contact, Piers is still calling the move “pathetic.”

Piers Morgan Can’t Get Over Meghan Markle’s Behaviour

According to Express, the controversial television host and presenter became friends with the former Hollywood actress before she met and eventually fell in love with Prince Harry. The two even met up at a pub for drinks after they connected on social media. However, Piers claims that she suddenly stopped speaking to him – and without an explanation – when she began dating Harry in 2016.

And while it’s been a few years since they’ve last spoken, Piers still can’t get over it. He told Heat Magazine in an interview, “Meghan can come on (GMB) if she can explain to me why, after a year-and-a-half of being my buddy and tweeting people to say she was my buddy, she then ghosted me. I actually quite liked her and she was good fun, but she didn’t just ghost me herself, she then told the other guy in Suits who I also got on with [Patrick J Adams] to ghost me, too.”

Piers Morgan Calls Meghan Markle “Pathetic”

The television host went on to say that Meghan has a habit of ghosting people who are of no use to her. At least, that’s what he believes. In addition to Piers Morgan, Meghan also hasn’t spoken to her father, Thomas Markle Sr. since last year and has been estranged from her siblings for several years as well.

Piers added, “I thought it was all a bit pathetic, really. It was a bit of a warning sign because she does it to everyone. She had none of her family at the wedding and now she’s ghosted her dad. It’s rude. I don’t like rude people. I wouldn’t do that.”

Meghan Markle Still Has Yet To Make Comment On The Situation

So far the Duchess of Sussex herself hasn’t made any comments about what happened between her and Piers, although it’s doubtful that she will. She married Prince Harry in a lavish ceremony at Windsor Castle last year and welcomed their first son, Archie Harrison, on May 6th.
