Ashland was the one that found the Peru treatment, which isn’t approved in the US. Ashland likely never had cancer and created the Peru treatment scam. Could he ruin Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) when the scam is discovered?

Y&R spoilers reveal that Ashland claimed to have terminal cancer and only had a few months to live. Victoria quickly moved Ashland in with her while shipping her kids off to live with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). Now the children have been shipped off to boarding school and “Astoria” are partners in love and business.

Fans have suspected for quite some time that Ashland’s been faking his cancer. Miraculously, Ashland discovered a treatment in Peru that was promising. Ashland asked Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) to look into it. Nate wasn’t able to confirm if the treatment was legit as he didn’t dive into it that deeply. However, he said it was worth a shot and now Ashland is on the road to remission.

Y&R Spoilers – Victor Newman’s Suspicion

When news of Ashland’s recovery hit Genoa City, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) rebooted his investigation. This time, he has asked Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) to dig up the truth about Ashland, including his health.

Meanwhile, Ashland offers Nate a new opportunity and challenge. Could Ashland try to create a medical division in Newman-Locke? If so, he will need a medical advisor, which might be Nate’s new opportunity.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Nate and Victoria could both be making huge mistakes. If Newman-Locke “buys” the cancer treatment, then it will probably be Ashland pocketing the multi-billion-dollar payout. After all, Ashland didn’t get a miracle cure and probably didn’t come across the Peru treatment by accident. What if Ashland created this cancer treatment scam?

Y&R Spoilers – Newman Family Ruined?

Ashland has been determined to ruin the Newman family ever since he nearly died thanks to Victor. As fans recall, Ashland had a massive heart attack. Victor refused to get him help until he signed the papers selling Cyaxares (now Newman Media). Ashland vowed revenge and he hasn’t given up on that. We are already seeing Victoria get suspicious of Ashland. One way Ashland could ruin the Newman family is by having Newman-Locke buy a fake cancer scam.

They would have to be careful as a fake treatment would never be cleared by the FDA. Plus, it takes years to get treatments FDA-approved. So, Ashland could suggest they bypass the FDA by calling it a supplement or vitamin. Those are not regulated by the FDA. As long as Newman-Locke doesn’t claim that it cures or treats any medical condition, they will be safe.

However, Ashland knows this treatment is a scam and Newman-Locke could be sued. This would ruin the Newman family, but wouldn’t it also ruin Ashland? Not if one of his fake identities was the original “owner” of the treatment, and the recipient of Newman-Locke’s multi-billion-dollar payout. Can Victor and Michael find out the truth before it’s too late?
