British royal family news shows that at least one royal watcher is looking forward to the rumored startup of Meghan Markle’s shuttered blog. According to the royal expert both Markle and Prince Harry will see great success if The Tig is given new life.
Royal Family News – Will Meghan Be A Blogger?
It was reported this week that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are thought to be rethinking a revival of Meghan’s lifestyle blog, The Tig, named after her favorite wine. What got tongues wagging was the fact that one of their lackeys, “applied to reactivate the trademark name,” according to the Express.
Based on that, royal editor Russell Myers thinks that a resuscitated blog will be an, “undoubted success.” He seems to be assuming that the blog would provide snippets of the couple’s private life, and there is no promise about that.
Is Meghan Markle Going To Reveal Her Home Life?
In the past Meghan uploaded recipes, wrote about feminism and activism and posted a few photos. Myers told Pod Save the Queen, “Let’s say if Tig unearthed and was not only the nuggets from her life, she was talking issues, big issues that she is involved in feminism, in activism, she was putting recipes on there as well.”
“So I just think it was this whole of lifestyle aspect and what are people interested in? People are interested not only in their activism, not only in their work, causes like mental health and so.”
The only problem with that is that 1. The Markle’s are loathe to disclose anything about themselves, and 2. They talk for cash only; Would they really give the milk away for free?

Royal Family News – Will The Markle’s Give The Milk Away For Free?
Undeterred by precedent, Myers said, “But I think people are very very interested in their lifestyle. So it was to be unearthed, it will be an undoubted success, so why wouldn’t they do that?”
The Tig debuted in 2014, said to be named after her favorite wine, Tignanello. In that era Meghan talked about her mother, Doria Ragland, and her father Thomas Markle, the parent she is now estranged from.
She called the blog a “passion project.” Which is odd because after marrying Harry and becoming Princess Pinocchio Meghan slammed all social media users as being akin to “addicts.” Together they have warned of the dangers of internet use and yet it appears that, “Meghan’s lawyer Marjorie Witter Norman filed a new application to trademark the name last July after a similar application filed in 2019 expired last year.”
