Stranger things have happened with those coming back from the dead on General Hospital over the years, with Helena Cassadine’s (Constance Towers) numerous resurrections, as well as her son Stavros Cassadine (Robert Kelker-Kelly). Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) has been one of the latest and once thought Nathan was his son – even if he was upset that he wasn’t, could he have whisked Nathan away into stasis and perhaps bring him back to life at an appropriate time? As much as Victor hates Peter August (Wes Ramsey) what a snub it would be to him should he bring Nathan back to Maxie – saying Peter isn’t dead before he can do so!

Nathan was in the wrong place at the wrong time, with Peter smirking in one end of the office as Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) came after Peter but shot Nathan instead; Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) followed, screaming to Faison he’d killed his own son!

General Hospital viewers will agree that no one has had the chemistry onscreen with Kirsten Storms like she had with Ryan Paevey, and the “Naxie” pairing had potential to be one of the hottest ones ever on GH! With Victor Cassadine back it would be so easy to find that Nathan, too, was saved like Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) was and in one of Victor’s many medical facilities perhaps recovering from a coma just in time to come home to Maxie!

General Hospital viewers will recall that Victor just got a sweet deal with the WSB for no prosecution for past crimes, but it looks like he’s getting ready to be caught for some new ones! General Hospital viewers saw Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) film him and Johann Bauer (Max Decker) down on the pier, discussing killing Peter and how Agent Krieger (Josh Adamson) had failed.

Then when Sam told Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Robert took a video copy and sent to the WSB, Johann was recognized and tied to the area and time of Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) fatal accident! Laura tied Victor to Luke’s death and the theft of the real Ice Princess diamond although someone else might have the diamond by now since Victor didn’t tie the heatwave to the weather machine! Victor might need something to redeem himself again – and bringing back Nathan alive would redeem him to both Maxie and Liesl!
