Royal Family News: Covid Positive Queen Elizabeth Cancels More Virtual Meetings

British royal family news shows that Queen Elizabeth was diagnosed with Covid last Sunday and although she was said to have mild symptoms she is still recovering and has now been forced to cancel more of her virtual engagements. It’s been reported that her voice is not quite up to snuff and described as “croaky” as she continues to isolate at Windsor Palace with Covid-19.

The latest cancellations occurred on Thursday. The palace source said that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth sounded as if “full of cold” and we all know that cotton head feeling. It is best that the queen continue to rest as her grand Platinum Jubilee celebration takes place in June. At that time there will be a four day bank holiday complete with a parade, public events and lots of festivities.

According to The Sun, “sources said the cancellations were made because the monarch ‘understandably still sounds full of cold’. However, they have stressed that there was nothing to be alarmed about and she seemed to be ‘on the mend.’” She is believed to be fully vaccinated but she was exposed to her son Charles and after their last meeting he tested positive. Ten days later the queen tested positive, and a palace insider has said that the entire residence was rocked with Covid.

In the meantime some of the Platinum Jubilee tour schedules have been revealed. Her son Prince Edward and his wife Sophie will undertake a major overseas tour, as will her daughter Anne. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, will go to the Caribbean.

Royal Family News – The Queen Has Covid

There are two princes who will not be representing the queen for the Platinum Jubilee, Prince Andrew and Prince Harry. Last week Andrew settled a NYC based civil lawsuit against him out of court. Virginia Giuffre accused Andrew of using her as a sex trafficking victim, having sex three times with her when she was a minor. The settlement did not contain an acknowledgement of guilt on his part and he has maintained his innocence. Harry on the other hand is battling the entire UK police force, claiming he cannot return to the UK unless he receives the same level of protection as the queen.
