For instance, the viral music video shows a figure symbolizing Kanye tying up and kidnapping Kim’s boyfriend Pete Davidson. But the violent action includes the avatar putting a pillowcase over Davidson’s head and tossing him on a motorcycle. And the shockers don’t end there. West’s symbolic representative then buries the “Saturday Night Live” (SNL) star, 28, from the head down.

To publicize his apparent reaction to Kim becoming legally freed, Kanye shared the music video on his Instagram account. And though it does serve as a clip to the song “Eazy,” the animated figures rather than the rap has gotten the most attention. (However, the previously released rap does contain those memorable lines: “God saved me from that crash just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s a*s.”)

Fans React To Kanye West’s Violent Music Video

With minutes of Kanye West posting his music video, reactions lit up Twitter. For instance, some analyzed what occurs after Ye buries Pete Davidson in the music video. The rapper’s avatar pours liquid over Pete’s head, plants seeds on his body, watches them flower, and then clips those posies. And in an animated reflection of Kanye’s own floral delivery to Kim Kardashian, the video shows the kidnapper putting the flowers on a truck filled with roses. As a result of that sequence, some Twitter commentators feared that Kanye is now seriously threatening Pete.

And some fans also expressed concern for Kanye. For instance, one wrote, “Get help, Kanye!” And another chimed in, “I truly believe Kanye is capable of doing something to Pete. It’s getting weird.”

But followers also pointed to what the ruling means for Kim’s and Kanye’s future. As a result of the court granting Kim’s motion asking for single legal status, some think that Kardashian will win her other points. And that could mean a surprisingly quick resolution to a divorce that has dragged on. 

For instance, in the hearing, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Steve Cochran notably dismissed Kanye’s procedural objections, pointed out USA Today. And the judge asked Kardashian a series of questions, including whether “problems, disputes and differences caused a breakdown of your marriage.” After Kim responded affirmatively, she won a clear victory.
