But Sheila’s outlook is short-sighted on B&B.

Telling Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) that Brooke had it coming was part of a veiled reveal. Thomas gained knowledge he never needed to know.

Sheila’s mistake offers life support to Brooke when she appeared doomed to divorce Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) yet another time.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Brooke Logan Forrester Feels Defeated

Brooke sees no way out of the situation she feels inexplicably responsible for causing. There was no reason for her to feel overwhelmingly compelled to drink. Yet the buried temptation was resurrected, and Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) lips were kissed.

Ridge has been supportive of his wife during this time of trial. He wanted her to know that his loyalty was unwavering and that he appreciated her being honest.

But Kaye’s character changed his daytime tune when Brooke told Ridge what happened on New Year’s Eve. Of course, Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) told Ridge as well.

B&B Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Angered By Sheila Carter

Thomas does not like Sheila. He holds her responsible for his parent’s breakup, which violently disrupted his childhood.

Telling Sheila that she is the reason why Brooke was able to enter Ridge’s life is a child-like view of what happened in an arc that dates back many years in real-time and even longer in soap time. So, hearing Sheila tell him that he should be grateful to her for Brooke’s downfall made no sense.

But then Sheila went a step too far when implying that she was responsible for Brooke drinking alcohol. Thomas would have never been able to find that missing piece of this soapy puzzle without Sheila’s hubris pushing the plot along.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Ridge Forrester Needs To Take Steps

Ridge decided to leave Brooke’s home. Then, he decided to accept Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) offer to move into the cliff house’s guest house.

There is time and space for Brooke and Ridge to reconcile because no divorce paperwork has been filed to date. The longer the period between their words and that action, the potentially less likely a Ridge-Taylor reunion happens.

Brooke is a resilient survivor. Sheila is overconfident in counting her out, with her foolish tell to Thomas emphasizing.
