Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) will confide in her cousin Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) in Wednesday, June 26th’s episode of Days of Our Lives.
Much has happened recently with Hope, and now that she was fired as police commissioner by Jenn’s ex-husband Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), she’s finding herself in the awkward position of doing police work as a civilian, trying to find a missing Ted Laurent (Gilles Marini) and probably feeling guilty that she couldn’t have helped JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) avoid detention and not being able to investigate the Horton cabin fire either.
Hope and Jennifer won’t know until later that JJ’s charges are being dropped by Jack in exchange for Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay) diary, which Will Horton (Chandler Massey) uses as a bargaining chip in a move that Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) may even be proud of him for.
So that’s one problem off both Hope and Jenn’s plates, and Haley Chen (Thia Megia) will show up back in Salem by the end of the week as well, bringing joy to JJ! However, Hope will find herself involved in more and more investigations by the end of the week, the fire at the Horton cabin being related to one of them!
Jennifer and Hope won’t be happy that Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) was also trapped in the cabin fire with Haley, but will be glad that both were saved in time by Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and that they weren’t seriously hurt. That fire and the previous one Hope’s daughter Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) was trapped in may both be subjects of conversation between Hope and Jenn as well as Hope and Rafe Hernandez’ (Galen Gering) divorce and maybe Hope’s involvement with the missing Ted!
This #PrideMonth, @ChandlerMassey reflects on Will's place as an LGBT character in Daytime. @MrRobertScott and @victoriakonefal also comment on the plan to expose Claire. #DAYS

Hope may feel guilty and helpless about the kidnapping and presumed death of Holly Jonas (Scarlett and Harlow Mallory) as well, and possibly regret that she blamed it all on Rafe going rogue and then firing him. That’s always awkward between a husband and wife, and one very good reason some employers have policies not to hire married couples or family members!
Eventually all the truths regarding these various situations will come out, and Hope with her detective work and Jenn with her investigative journalism may be part of the reason!
