British royal family news shows that a picture conveys a thousand words. Or so it’s said. In the case of one royal photo, it has generated at least a thousand words many times over, owing to the people pictured and its high visibility placement.

What has got tongues wagging all over the world? It is a very simple black and white picture, albeit one that is raising eyebrows. The picture in question shows Prince Charles walking Meghan Markle down the aisle to marry his younger son Prince Harry.

This particular photo was seen yesterday when Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, held an event for International Women’s Day. Camilla hosted the event at Clarence House, and a mixture of celebs were there including Mel B and Emerald Fennell, who played the duchess in the controversial Netflix series The Crown.

The talked about photo was one of many visible on a sideboard during the event. The photo was first seen when Meghan and Harry splashed it on their Sussex Royal Instagram account in May 2019.

Harry’s constant bashing of his family has not gone unnoticed so it came as a surprise to some to see a picture of his bride and his father given a prominent place on the mantle. This week one royal expert claimed, “Prince Harry is in regular contact with Prince Charles but his relationship with Prince William has not recovered since the Oprah interview.”

In case you missed it, the ugly mud flinging interview aired while Harry’s grandfather Prince Philip was on his deathbed and was a ratings bonanza for Winfrey. The royal family fared badly however as Meghan and Harry took turns accusing them of atrocities such as cutting off his allowance.

Perhaps the picture is a peace offering of sorts, or a plea for the thirsty pair to take it easy on the family? Royal biographer Tom Bower has claimed that there is no love lost between Meghan and Camilla. According to him, Camilla was always suspicious of Meghan’s “intentions.”
