“The Young & The Restless” star Robert Adamson has been cast in Arthur Miller’s “Death of a Salesman.” He is playing his “dream role,” Bill Loman, and he will be working with Rob Morrow as Willy Loman, Dylan Rourke, and Lee Carlington.
He’s been posting some behind-the-scenes photos on his Instagram account to keep his followers up to date. He even urged his fans to “Please come check it out if you’re in town.” They can see Adamson perform at the Ruskin Group Theatre in Los Angeles.
His fellow cast in “The Young and the Restless” Christian Le Blanc, who plays Michael Baldwin, watched Adamson perform, on a preview performance of the play last Thursday night. He had only good things to say. On Twitter, he said, “Saw the preview of Death of A Salesman last night. Robert Adamson is amazing!”
“Death of A Salesman” won a Pulitzer Price and the man behind it, Arthur Miller, received a Tony award for it. The play is an example of the post WW II realism movement in the arts. The story takes place in the late 1940s in Brooklyn and it focuses on the life of a traveling salesman and his relationship with his family and neighbors. The play takes place every Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday matinees until August 4.

It was also reported last month that Adamson, who is known for his character as Noah Newman in “The Young and the Restless,” got a role in an upcoming feature film titled “Kissing Cousins” where he will play the role of Rick. Earlier this year, he also announced that he wrote and directed a new short film titled “Blue Beach.” It centers on the struggles of a young couple who just became new parents. The short film stars Madeleine Blomdahl, Owen Kneeland, and Zach Atticus.
Adamson’s movie credits include “Dr. Chopper,” “Private High Musical,” “Lip Service,” and “Time To Shine.” He is also part of “Villisca” and “Zoey to the Max,” both of which are currently in post-production. His TV credits include “Cold Case,” “Lincoln Heights” where he played Charles Antoni from 2007 to 2009,“ and “Hollywood Heights” where he portrayed Phil Sanders for 80 episodes.
