In the Days of Our Lives weekly promo video, fireworks erupt in more places than just the Horton-Brady barbeque that Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) and Sarah Horton Brady (Linsey Godfrey) will be reviving and hosting for the Fourth of July holiday!

Fireworks explode in the “commish’s” office as John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) descend upon so-called Police Commissioner Eve Deveraux (Kassie DePaiva) in her office and Marlena tears into her for how she used her granddaughter, Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan)!

Fireworks happen between Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) as they pull into an affectionate kiss, falling in love without meaning to; Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) proposes to Lani Price (Sal Stowers); and Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) and Ted Laurent (Gilles Marini) have a tryst in the secret room where they are trapped in the DiMera Mansion! Oh well—like they say, if you can’t be with the one you love, love the one you’re with! Shame on Ted!

Monday, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), Marlena, and Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) desperately try to find Claire and Ciara after Ben and Marlena find a badly injured Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) alone in the loft; Claire slightly grazed his throat with a large knife in Friday’s episode, but promo stills show him in the hospital with a bandaged head, so she must have conked him on the head with something. Dr. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) tends to Tripp at Salem University Hospital.

Tuesday, Eve confronts her husband Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) about hiding things from her, including dropping the charges against his son JJ; and Shawn-Douglas Brady (Brandon Beemer) lashes out at Tripp about his treatment of Shawn’s daughter Claire, not yet knowing the whole story.

Wednesday, Rex has an idea about how he and Sarah can publicly celebrate their marriage and proposes a revival of the annual Brady/Horton Fourth of July barbeque!
