General Hospital Rumors: Jason Morgan Returns From The Dead?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that according to some blind item spoilers released recently, Jason Morgan could come back from the dead for the second time and possibly even played by Steve Burton in future episodes of General Hospital!

General Hospital Rumors – The Blind Item Could Refer To Any Of The Four Soaps

Lest General Hospital and Jason fans get their hopes up, Soap Opera Digest did clarify that these inside casting leaks could refer to any one of the four soaps currently on the air. The first one reveals that a past character will return, which could apply to Jason returning from the dead to General Hospital; however, there are some clues from recent episodes that could verify that it will be Jason returning to GH.

For one, Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) has started legal proceedings to have Jason declared dead, although Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) disagrees –she felt like it was giving up on him; Monica’s rationale was to not leave his children in limbo. Some soap fans consider it a sure sign a presumably deceased character will return alive when family members have them declared dead – it most recently happened with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)!

GH Spoilers – A Twisted Triangle With No Plans To Revive

Another hint that this blind item may refer to Jason and General Hospital is that the character is part of a former very popular twisted triangle, although there are no plans to revive the triangle! General Hospital viewers will recall that when Jason came back and Port Charles found out “Jason” was really Drew Cain, (Cameron Mathison) who no one had known existed – except Heather Webber (Robin Mattson) that Drew, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) was a very twisted triangle!

It was very confusing for Sam, who loved the “new Jason” and the old one at the same time, only to have Drew disappear and be presumed dead by the time she wanted to be out of the mob life! There wouldn’t be that problem now, since Sam is with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), and the twisted triangle would now be Drew, Carly and Jason! It would be a shame, however, since Drew indicated that he and Jason bonded as the brothers they are down in the tunnels of Cassadine Island!

General Hospital Spoilers – The Returning Actor May Not Have A Lot Of Friends At His Show

General Hospital viewers should also consider the other blind item, which states that the actor may not have many friends at his show; this could certainly pertain to Steve Burton, who was let go for refusal to comply with the Disney vaccine mandate! General Hospital viewers know there is at least one other General Hospital player who is vehement about complying with the mandate, and was rumored to have been a huge factor in Ingo Rademacher’s firing at about the same time!

Burton had stated he had submitted the proper paperwork to document why he could not comply but Disney corporate had not accepted them; but he either could have complied since, or Disney may have even relaxed the rules. At least two fully vaccinated and boosted GH stars recently tested positive for covid and had to take time off – Inga Cadranel for one, Kirsten Storms for the other, and there may be more who haven’t gone public. Jason and Steve fans will simply have to wait and see what happens down the road!
