British royal family news shows that Prince Andrew may have no intention of disappearing back into the shadows anytime soon. Were his critic’s rights, was the disgraced royal emboldened by his rebellious stand at last week’s memorial for Prince Philip?
The Sun reports that while Princes Charles and William wish him to crawl back under his rock, he will, “be accompanying the Queen to the Derby over the Platinum Jubilee weekend this year.”
Will Andrew Come Back To Royal Life?
A source told the outlet that Andrew the Duke of York, “is planning on escorting his mother to the Epsom race, despite one source telling The Sun that he was meant to ‘stay invisible’ during the weekend celebrations in June.” If that is true, Andrew knows his place yet willfully chooses to veer out of his lane.
In February Andrew paid millions in an out of court settlement to Virginia Giuffre. Last August she brought a case against him alleging sexual assault by him when she was a minor and a sex trafficking victim of his dead, convicted pedophile friend Jeffrey Epstein.
Is Andrew Planning A Comeback?
The Queen has been in questionable health since at least late last year when she was hospitalized overnight for an undisclosed condition. Since then she contracted Covid and for months has cancelled or amended her events calendar.
She has mobility issues as well and has used a cane to walk. According to the source, she, “needs a chaperone on all occasions at the moment due to her mobility issues and Andrew has earmarked the Derby as the one he will accompany her at.”
“He just doesn’t seem to understand the public outcry.”

Is The Public Tired Of Andrew?
The Dean of Westminster was expected to escort the queen to her seat, and, “It is reported that Princes Charles and William raised concerns ‘on more than one occasion’ about the optics of allowing the duke to escort the 95-year-old monarch down to her seat at such a well-publicized event.”
Critics decried the “brazen” move as an attempt to return to public life with one calling it “mission creep.” A source previously suggested that the service would be Andrew’s final public appearance and that it was “highly unlikely” he would appear at the Platinum Jubilee.
