Royal Family News: Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Moving To NY?

British royal family news shows that royal runaways Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are rumored to be checking out second homes in one of the richest zip codes on earth. One rich and elitist zip code (a mansion in Montecito, California) isn’t enough for them?

According to the rumor mill, the thirsty pair who shamelessly declared that money is more important to them than family, are said to be eyeing up real estate in New York near the United Nations headquarters.

Royal Family News: The Markle’s Want More Exclusivity

The Duke and Duchess of Excess now live in a £11.2million ($14.65million) starter mansion in California. They did this after renouncing the royal family, declaring they wanted “financial freedom” more than the monarchy.

They moved into the very exclusive, very privileged, celebrity enclave of Montecito. They landed there in July 2020 after pulling off their Megxit stunt in which they deserted the UK, the crown, and his family.

According to the Daily Mail, “local gossip in New York suggests the Sussexes are now looking at also renting a home near the UN headquarters, which are located at Midtown East in Manhattan.”

Royal Family News – The Markle’s Are Moving To New York?

The outlet reports that the pair were at the UN last September for a photo op with Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed. Later they crashed, “Global Citizen Live, a concert at Central Park which called on leaders to adopt a vaccine equity policy.”

During the same trip they took a picture with Linda Thomas-Greenfield, the United States ambassador to the United Nations under President Joe Biden.

Meghan Markle Doesn’t Get It

But Meghan has not fared so well when she takes her political ambitions into her own hands. Last year she obtained a list of phone numbers of US congresswomen and proceeded to cold call them, introducing herself as, “the Duchess of Sussex,” and then recommending how they should vote.

It was amateur and cringe, classic Meghan, and at least one congresswoman went on record to scold Megs on her lack of manners and awareness, saying she would rather hear from her own constituents. Apparently Meghan didn’t get the rather direct message that her nose is not welcome in elected affairs if the pair are now house hunting so as to be closer to the political elite. What’s the saying—ignorance is bliss?
