The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Rosales Family Increases – Patriarch Arrives Before Wedding?Two recent subtractions and one addition to the Rosales family on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Based on what Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue) and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) said to each other, it now appears as though the loathed patriarch will expand Genoa City, Wisconsin’s, newest family by one.

Why mention Celeste’s ex-husband, who is also the father of the two remaining GC residents, Rey and the engaged Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle), unless this character will soon be written into the show?

Y&R fans took note when Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) and Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzalez) were written back to Miami, Florida. Savvy viewers knew that a decision was made to adjust this still-new family, with both solid actors departing their roles.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Lola’s Wedding Day

In effect, assuming that Celeste’s former husband comes to Lola’s wedding, this former couple will have been swapped for Arturo and Mia. That’s an interesting choice, but could also make viewers wonder if ‘Marturo’ might be primed to revisit for Lola’s nuptials, or will return at some point in the not-too-distant future? The birth of their child, who is expected by the approximate end of this year, would seem a good calendar point to go beyond a dialogue mention.

LaRue is a longtime daytime veteran who has easily fit into the cast. She’s a terrific actor, whose natural stage presence projects her as a permanent player on this show.

Considering that Wendy Benson Landes (Mallory) just told Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) she’s moving to be with her children, following her father’s death, Celeste’s next pairing seems obvious. A match with Jack was telegraphed when Celeste complemented Jack’s blue eyes during the meet and greet at the Abbott family home. ‘Jeleste’ would then establish another rival for Jack, with that person being her ex-husband.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Rey’s Daddy Issues

Rey clearly has issues with his father. Viewers have now learned that the eldest Rosales’ male cheated on Celeste, which caused her to kick him out of their home in the distant past. In recent years he’s apparently been in contact with Celeste, sometimes requesting money. However, his desire to walk Lola down the aisle at the upcoming ‘Kola’ wedding sets up what feels like Y&R’s next character offering.
