Royal Family News: Prince Harry Jealous Over Prince William’s Pick Of Royal Charities

British royal family news shows that a new book about the royal family sheds further light on Prince Harry B.M.–Before Meghan. In the last two years, this capricious couple has complained bitterly about his family, but it seems the seeds of discontent were sown long before he met the former game show girl.

Tina Brown is the author of The Palace Papers: Inside The House Of Windsor – The Truth And The Turmoil, and in it she claims that Harry, the Duke of Excess was very angry with his brother Prince William—who one day will be king while Harry most definitely will not—at least ten years ago.

She claims that Harry the spare was jealous of Prince William the heir and felt he was getting the lion’s share of plum assignments. When he wasn’t venting about his lack of status, he apparently was complaining about his father, another heir, Prince Charles of Wales.

According to the book, Harry was so obsessed with his demons that his then-girlfriend Cressida Bonas, “asked MI6 to recommend a therapist for the duke.”

She allegedly quoted a friend of the siblings as calling Harry, “a very, very angry man,” and says that the, “friction between the brothers escalated, “after William became patron of a charity Harhttps://twitter.com/SoapOperaSpy/status/1517844879400783872ry wanted to represent.” That group was the rhino and elephant charity the Tusk Trust and afterward, in 2015, Harry and William had, “Olympic rows.”

Royal Family News – Was Harry Always Angry?

The book claims that Cressida became tired of Prince Harry’s whines about his family while they dated between 2012 and 2014; Meghan came unto the picture in 2018. Harry reportedly wrote to Cressida, “a sweet letter saying ‘I admire you, I wish you well and above all thank you for helping me to address my demons and seek help.’”

Cressida also found it difficult to put up with Harry’s, “resentment towards the Press.” The book claims that while their relationship was fodder as a romantic love affair, the, ‘bizarre reality of date nights was glumly eating takeaway and watching Netflix at Nottingham Cottage, Harry’s none-too-tidy two-bedroom grace-and-favour bachelor pad in the grounds of Kensington Palace.’” It just goes to show that the more things change, the more they stay the same?
