And that will always be the problem for a guy who openly states that he loves two different women.

But when someone, meaning Liam, decides to marry Hope, he can not also be married to Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), even if it was a pretend union.

Thankfully, TPTB did not stretch Steffy’s mental coping mechanism for weeks or months. In what could be counted as a matter of soapy hours, Liam did as Hope told him to do. He broke the news to Steffy that they were not married and that her real husband, John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), was dead.

A variety of fans have convinced themselves that the writing staff will not take an outrageous backward step. No way, now how to a Liam and Steffy revival.

The death of Finn leaves Steffy a widow. Being single and considering her history with Liam, it is not impossible to predict they could rediscover their romantic bond and explore it.

However, it is not plausible right now. Maybe down the road, if some conflict develops between Liam and Hope and Steffy remains unattached. But this ship has sailed on many occasions. So why take a similar trip again?

B&B Spoilers – Steffy Forrester Told Liam Spencer To Marry Rival

Devoted fans recall that a moping Liam had to be told by Steffy to leave her and marry Hope. Yes, that is how he went from Wood’s character to Noelle’s.

To think that both dynamic women have not been able to find other guys who are twice as great as Liam is unbelievable. But this is daytime. So, viewers suspend disbelief, and the plot continued to develop.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Hope Spencer Is Stronger Now

Hope still takes relationship and marital advice from her mother, who has marriages and remarriages that create a combined total in the double-digits. One would think Hope would be experienced enough to make her own choices.

Nevertheless, having a daughter with Liam and becoming Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Samiri) adoptive mother has helped Hope to become stronger. Her maturity level allowed her to recognize that Liam could not allow himself to exist in a dysfunctional fantasy world.

An alternative perspective, and arguably, the right one, projects that Hope was right to follow Brooke Logan Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) advice. Liam needed to be told what to do because he was understandably conflicted. Following his wife’s advice also helped Steffy to face reality and then begin dealing with it.
