Time to get a look at the set of ‘When Hope Calls,’ the first original series for Hallmark Movies NOW. The beautiful town of Brookfield was built in just 11 weeks!
Filmed in North Bay Canada, the spin-off of the Hallmark Channel’s number one drama ‘When Calls the Heart’, will premiere on Friday, August 30.
The promo, shared on ‘WHC’ Instagram, is hosted by Morgan Kohan [Lilian] and Jocelyn Hudson [Grace]. Joined by co-star Pascal Hutton [Rosemary Coulter], the ladies share with us how amazing it was to step onto the set for the first time.

“Since it is the first, we’re blazing the trail a little bit, and we have pretty high hopes that everyone’s going to be really excited to watch it and join in,” Morgan shares with enthusiasm.
Before giving Hearties a first look at the set under construction, Jocelyn talks about walking into the town the amazing town of Brookfield that has been created just for the new subscription streaming service Hallmark Movies NOW.
“It was very cool to walk on set for the first time, especially since these sets have been created for our show,” Jocelyn explains.
The main locations where ‘When Hope Calls’ are the beautifully constructed orphanage, ranch and the town of Brookfield. Morgan was blown away. “It’s mind-blowing to think that this wasn’t here three months ago.”
Hallmark Channel News – When Hope Calls Debuts This Month!
‘When Hope Calls,’ first and second episodes premiere Friday, August 30 on Hallmark Movies NOW. New episodes will be available every Friday through October 25.
Hearties were introduced to Lillian and Grace during the ‘When Calls the Heart: The Greatest Christmas Blessing,’ episode in 2018. ‘When Hope Calls’ continues Grace and Lilian’s journey. Orphaned as toddlers and finding each other as adults, the sisters move to the small Western town determined to open an orphanage of their own.
Halmarkies are you ready for this highly anticipated new original series on Hallmark Movies NOW? The streaming service, launched in October 2017, is available on iOS, Android, Roku and Amazon Fire, among other devices.
The SVOD service is also available over the Internet on both Comcast’s Xfinity X1 and Cox’s Contour platforms.
