Anthony Turpel, who is best known for his role as RJ Forrester on “The Bold and The Beautiful” has joined the cast of an upcoming Disney+ series.
The actor, who was recently reported to have landed a recurring role on “No Good Nick,” has also been cast in the upcoming “Love, Simon,” which is a spin-off series that’s based on a movie of the same name.
Turpel shared the exciting news on Instagram. “I can finally say that I am incredibly lucky to be apart of an awesome cast and crew to bring Love Simon the TV show on Disney plus!!!!!! Make sure to check it out you will love it!!!!!”
Bold And The Beautiful News – Love, Simon Series Follows Victor’s Struggles
“Love, Simon” has also found its lead actor. Michael Cimino, who appeared on “Annabelle Comes Home,” will take on the lead role as Victor, a new student at Creekwood High School.
The series will follow Victor as he deals with his struggles at his new home in a new city as well as his sexuality. The series is scheduled to go on production later this month but hasn’t revealed its premiere date yet. However, viewers know that Disney+ is set to launch in November.

Bold And The Beautiful News – Love, Simon’s Other Cast Members
Ana Ortiz also joined the cast as Victor’s mother; James Martinez as Victor’s dad, Armando; Isabella Ferreira as Pilar, Mateo Fernandez as Adrian, and Johnny Sequoyah as Mia. Bebe Wood will also appear as Lake, George Sear as Benji, Mason Gooding as Andrew, and Anthony Turpel as Victor’s new neighbour, Felix.
Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger will be at the helm of the upcoming series. The executive producers include Brian Tanen, Jason Ensler, Isaac Klausner, Marty Bowen, Adam Fishbach, Wyck Godfrey and Pouya Shahbazian. The first episode will be directed by Amy York Rubin and co-exec produced by Pilar Boehm.
