Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap Thursday, August 29, reveals Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) is visiting Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin). Brady tells Chloe about the surprise party.

Chloe can’t believe Kristen Dimera (Stacy Haiduk) was pretending to be Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker). Brady tells Chloe that Nicole and Holly Jonas (Harlow and Scarlett Mallory) are both alive. Chloe wants to join the efforts to bring Holly and Nicole home.

She gets a call for the job she auditioned for and she thinks she has to turn it down. Brady reminds Chloe of the last job she turned down. Chloe can’t keep putting everyone else first. Brady promises to find Holly. Chloe will be a big part of Holly’s life.

Days of Our Lives Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) and Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) discuss Ted Laurant’s (Gilles Marini) death. Hope is shocked she missed signs of Kristen. Jennifer goes to the police station in hopes of talking to Kristen. Jennifer tells Jack that Dr. Roth (William Utay) is probably alive too. Dr. Roth is the only person who can help him recover his memory. Melinda Trask (Laura Kai Chen) runs down Hope and gives her a letter from Ted. Jennifer asks if there isn’t some want to keep Salem safe and get Holly and Nicole back.

Days of Our Lives Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) is on the phone with Adrienne Kiriakis (Judy Evans). Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) tells Jack to stop being a jerk. Jack needs Kayla’s help. Jack wants the video of Eve when she stole the diary. Kayla will help Jack but has conditions. Kayla accuses Jack of being scared of having a conscious. Jack calls Kayla condescending. Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) comes to tell Kayla goodbye. Kayla thinks he is leaving town for the wrong reason. Kayla believes Tripp will make an amazing doctor.

Days of Our Lives J.J. Deveraux (Casey Moss) and Haley Chen (Thia Megia) are getting ready to move out of the loft. Tripp arrives and tells J.J. not to go. Tripp tells J.J. and Haley that he is leaving. He is going to medical school in California. Melinda brings keys to J.J. and Haley. Haley tells J.J. they don’t have to move. Haley explains that Tripp is moving out. Melinda is upset but tries to cover. J.J. tells Haley that Melinda is disappointed,

Days of Our Lives Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) tries to get Melinda to work with Kristen to bring Nicole and Holly home. Melinda refuses to help Eric. Melinda won’t give Kristen a deal. Eric approaches Jack and demands he help. Jack refuses to help her. Eric accuses Jack of being a spineless worm and wants her to prove him wrong. Haley tells J.J. when she signed up for dumplings with Melinda, she wasn’t speaking for both of them. J.J. wishes he and Jack could get along as well as she and Melinda.

Days of Our Lives Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) approaches Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and comments about Eric and Nicole. Xander assumes that Eric dropped Sarah. Xander claims to know nothing about Nicole. He points out that nothing is standing between Eric and Nicole now. Xander claims he doesn’t know where Holly and Nicole are.
