Bold And The Beautiful Alum Betty White’s 100th NFL Season Kick-Off Promo — See It Right Here

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) news reveals one of America’s favorite alum is pitching in to promote the 100th season of the NFL. In the promo video, White claimed that no one was more “badass than yours truly.”

And, let’s be honest, no one will disagree with her on that. Here’s what we know about the promo video.

Betty White Played Ann Douglas

On Bold and the Beautiful, White played the role of Ann Douglas from 2006 through 2009. Her character was Stephanie Forrester’s (Susan Flannery) mother. She appeared in 23 episodes.

On December 23, 2009, White said goodbye to the B&B fans when Ann died of cancer. She died on Paradise cover surround by Stephanie, Pam Douglas (Alley Mills), and Taylor Haynes (Hunter Tylo).

Even though it’s been a decade since Betty appeared on the CBS soap opera, the fans remember her character’s death. It was one of those scenes that many couldn’t forget. It was beautiful, touching, and bittersweet.

NFL Kicks Off 100th Season

On Thursday, September 5, Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears will battle it out on Thursday Night Football on NBC. In the clip from White’s official social media account, Betty appears with sportscaster, Al Michaels.

The B&B alum refers to herself as “B-Dawg” in the clip. The sitcom and soap legend posted to her Instagram account, “There’s only one thing more badass than this year’s kickoff…Tune in for #Kickoff2019 Sept. 5th at 730 p.m. on #NBC.”

At the beginning of the promo, White tells Al that she can put into words what the new season of NFL means to her. After she explains, the camera returns back to her, and she has black liner on her eyes, sporting a football jersey.
