The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) world will spin out of control as a secret enemy attacks!

As The Young and the Restless viewers know, someone is challenging Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) will, and Devon has promised there would be a fight. But that may not be all that is happening here.

There is suspicion that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) could be behind the challenge to the will, and there could be more to the rumors of his involvement with Chance Chancellor (John Driscoll) in Las Vegas than meets the eye. If Adam Newman is involved, a mere challenge to a will may just be the start.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Makes The Fight Personal

It is a proven fact that Adam Newman is dangerous, and doesn’t care who he hurts or how he hurts them. Viewers know that he recently tampered with his own father’s medicine for revenge. He thought Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) tried to run him down, when it was really Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) – or perhaps his alter.

But that wasn’t the first time he tried to hurt Victor. If Adam really is behind the challenge to the will and Devon fights hard enough against the challenge, then Adam will make the fight more personal, against Devon himself. He’ll also take advantage of any weakness he can find in Devon.

Chance Chancellor may or may not even be in cahoots with Adam in this challenge, and may not even know anything about it. He hasn’t been seen since November, 2011 when he left Genoa City to take a job at the Pentagon, and Washington DC is a far cry as well as a far distance from Las Vegas, Nevada. Those texts from Chance to his mother Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) could even have been faked – by Adam. How Chance got from the Pentagon to Sin City is a mystery in itself, if he even did at all.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Devon Hamilton’s Serious Weaknesses

Devon Hamilton has some serious weaknesses that an enemy like Adam could target and take advantage of. Longtime Y&R viewers will recall that he suffered from mood swings at one time, and at the Grand Phoenix opening he suffered a panic attack, helped along by the sangria, which was spiked. Devon also has a little Las Vegas history and that was when he was arrested for trashing a hotel room there, but the charges were dropped when it was found he didn’t do it.

Could that have been the same time Adam was there, supposedly hanging out with Chance? If this is Adam challenging the will then he could easily arrange for Devon to have a nervous breakdown, leading to a declaration of incompetency.
