General Hospital viewers are having a hard time believing it, but it looks like a fan favorite is coming back to Port Charles very soon! In fact, new reports indicate that Steve Burton might be returning to General Hospital very soon.
Steve played Jason Morgan on General Hospital from 1991 to 2012 and Dylan McAvoy on the Young and the Restless from 2013 to 2017. The 47-year-old also won several Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor for his role on the Young and the Restless. But it’s his role as Jason Morgan that fans love the best. His character went from preppy and wholesome to angry, stoic and emotionless. He was even given the nickname, “angry boy.”
And now Steve Burton himself is making it no secret that he’s ready to come back. He even shares one of his all time favorite photos of Jason Morgan on his Instagram account and captioned it with, “One of my favorite shots from the @generalhospitalabc set years ago! Will I play this guy again??? Tune in to see #gh #jasonornot #boom #mustsee.”
Of course, Steve’s fans immediately went wild on social media with excitement and anticipation over his return. Unfortunately though, ABC has not made any comments about Steve’s return or a new Jason Morgan storyline for that matter. Many want to know if he’s a changed man or if he still harbors the same angry feelings as before. Fans will just have to tune in to see what will happen next. Some viewers are already on the edge of their seats.
