Young And The Restless Spoilers: Is Victor Really Dead This Time?

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) may not be as dead as his family and friends think, after collapsing at the Newman Ranch in an apparent cardiac failure. Dr. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) was present, but prior to his and his family’s arrival for the meeting, sans Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) whose phone ran out of battery and who was helping Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) Victor and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) had a conversation about fighting back hard!

Victor and Nikki talked about not getting expectations up and then fighting back hard, but although they could have been talking about his health and the disease he has been on an experimental protocol for, they could just have easily been talking about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)! Victor’s “death” could be a plot to teach Adam a serious life lesson!

Y&R Rumors – Victor Newman Has Faked His Death For Different Reasons Before

Victor has been “dead” four times before, as longtime Y & R viewers will recall. Once he had amnesia from falling off a horse, but that doesn’t count as a death! When you look at his history of misdeeds and misbehavior, an objective person could think that Victor and Adam are too much alike and that’s why they don’t get along! Victor himself has definitely been no angel over the years! When Nate brought back the blood test results, they went in Victor’s office to discuss them, and although Nikki may be in the loop about what’s really going on to get back at Adam, Nate and Victor may well have cooked up a fake death scheme, and not informed the rest of the family – or if they did, they will be very good at acting out grief when Victor’s “dead body” is taken away!

Young & The Restless Rumors – Adam Newman Does Seem To Have A Conscience

Adam does seem to have a conscience, although he doesn’t seem to pay attention to it very often! Upon hearing of his father’s death, he will have a conversation with Phyllis Newman (Michelle Stafford) and make a remark that he only wanted to incapacitate Victor, not kill him!

That is not the remark of someone with no conscience! Viewers will also note that when Victor collapsed and Nate couldn’t find a pulse, when Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) called 911, she told them they have a doctor on the premises and that he couldn’t find a pulse! Saving the paramedics the trouble of finding out he is dead and no scenes of using the defibrillator is another big clue that the family and Nate, except Adam, is all in on the ruse!

Early recaps for Monday which happen because Y & R broadcasts are a day apart in Canada and the United States seem to indicate he is merely declared dead and he’s taken away! To add to the effect, it was Adam who Nate asked to help him get Victor off the couch and flat on the floor, when Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) was perfectly available to do so!

It sounds like indeed Victor is faking his death and involving the rest of his family in it, although it’s unclear whether anyone outside the family will be in the loop! That is one big guilt trip they are putting on Adam, although he will be punished for tampering with the meds!
