Sofia and her real-life sister Helena Mattsson, who is also an actress, started their new company, “Ava Carrington” recently.

“We started Ava Carrington after feeling a need for cruelty-free vegan bags that also felt well designed, made from high-quality materials and not harmful for the environment (like commonly used PVC). With defiant spirits and a love for creativity, we decided to take matters into our own hands.

Of course, as General Hospital fans know, Sofia Mattsson plays Sasha Gillmore, Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) “fake daughter”. Ironically, the first actress who played Nina, Michelle Stafford, also has a company using natural products called “Skin Nation”. We congratulate Sofia and Helena on “Ava Carrington” and wish them much success in their new endeavor!
