General Hospital spoilers tease that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will emotionally support Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) to help her break the truth about herself to her “fake mom” Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros)!

General Hospital Spoilers – Neither Michael Corinthos Or Sasha Gilmore Want To Hurt Nina Reeves

Neither Michael nor Sasha want to hurt Nina; Sasha just wants to not have to perpetuate the lie that she is her long lost daughter thought to be miscarried when Nina was in a coma twenty-something years ago. Michael understands that even though honesty is important, this is a delicate situation considering Nina and Sasha are truly bonded as mother and daughter.

That means it might hurt Nina worse than it would have otherwise, but on the other hand, because of their deep bond it may not even destroy their relationship with each other, it would just be defined differently! What will really throw Nina for a loop though is to find out Valentin Cassadine, (James Patrick Stuart) her fiancé was behind the whole thing! However, even he meant well even if he went about things the wrong way! He will have to convince her of that – if she will even listen to him once the truth comes out! Michael cares about Sasha, and he cares about Nina; Valentin? – not so much!

GH Spoilers – After Talking To Willow Tait, Michael Corinthos Realized Sasha Gilmore’s And Nelle Benson’s Situations Are Different!

After talking to his good friend Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) Michael realized just because Sasha had been playing a part and living a lie didn’t mean she was like Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) and a manipulative “lying liar who lies” as his mother Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) has put it, and there is a difference between someone who gets caught up in a deceitful situation and someone who causes it!

Of course, many fans argue that Sasha could have made up the whole sick grandma story too but why would she if it was so hard to admit her guilt and her life that has been a lie for the past year or so to Michael? Indeed, why would she admit it in the first place if she was a lifestyle liar like Nelle? She completely expected Michael to reject her and never have anything to do with her again, and instead he is being compassionate and trying to help her with a plan to protect herself in the situation!

General Hospital Spoilers – Sasha Gilmore Is So Worried About Nina Reeves’ Reaction To The Truth

Sasha is so worried about Nina’s reaction to the truth, and whether she will lose her mother figure, or if Nina will still react like Sasha really is her daughter and see it is a case of Valentin using Sasha, or what will happen! Perhaps Michael and Sasha will set up something with just the three of them excluding Valentin and explain what happened. Michael won’t know Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) part in it and Sasha may just know a little bit, but Curtis is close with Nina too, so it may be best if they meet with him first because he should be warned that he was involved in Valentin’s having perpetuated fraud!

But yet, the paper and money trail Curtis followed from Madeline Reeves’ (Donna Mills) baby broker did, as General Hospital viewers will recall, lead to Sasha from the Crichton-Clark clinic in upper New York when Nina was there in the coma and in August 20, 2018’s episode, Valentin visited Madeline Reeves in Pentonville and confronted her with the fact that he had proof of an eight month open window prior to Nina’s admission to the clinic and got Madeline to admit that Nina had given birth to a baby girl, who Madeline had “gotten rid of”!

Valentin became enraged when he assumed she meant that she killed the baby, but she told him to stop being so melodramatic, as what she had meant is she gave her to a baby broker to put for adoption. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) in a more recent conversation with Valentin said there had never been a baby, but yet Curtis found Sasha by following the paper trail and obviously Valentin did as well.

Valentin knew by Madeline’s body language that she was telling the truth about the baby girl, so perhaps Michael will advise Sasha to delay a little longer so he can start his own search for Nina’s real daughter and find her, before Sasha tells Nina the truth; that would definitely soften the blow although Nina would be thrown for a loop! If it’s not Sasha, some other young woman still might have the other half of the half-heart necklace!
