Next week on “The Young and the Restless,” Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will have a confrontation. The latter will ask if his son wanted him dead at the time he changed his medication.

Spoilers revealed that Adam will find out that his father is alive. He heads to the ranch where he finds Victor sitting at the chessboard. The pair will discuss everything that has transpired. Then, Adam will reveal his plans to leave Genoa City.

Later in the week, Victor will be up to something after failing to get what he wanted when he pretended to have died after Adam switched his meds. However, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will step up to take control of the situation while Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) addresses the fallout after Victor’s rise from the dead.

Y&R Spoilers – Nick Gets In Big Trouble

Meanwhile, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will be furious at Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) after the latter tells her the truth about Victor. She’ll be furious for keeping this huge secret from her especially since it involved Adam, Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) dad.

“The Young and The Restless” viewers may recall that it was Victor and Nikki who staged a scene that made Adam and others believe that Victor died. As it turns out, Victor’s other children were also in on the grand plan to make Adam believe that he killed Victor.

However, it wasn’t only Adam who didn’t know about the ruse. Summer Newman (Hunter King) was also left in the dark. Summer took the death of her grandfather pretty hard. She turned to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) for support.

It also caused some tension between herself and her mother, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Summer knew that Phyllis didn’t like Victor, so she pushed her mother away when she tried to console her.

Knowing all these, the news that Victor is alive won’t make her happy. She might feel that they didn’t trust her and that’s why they didn’t let her in on the scheme. According to spoilers, Phyllis will stand up for Summer and lash out at the Newman’s for treating her like a child and not letting her in on the ruse.
