The Young And The Restless spoilers tease that Thursday, October 3 will be another day of exciting drama and tense situations among the power players of Genoa City for Y & R fans!

At Newman Enterprises, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will deal with the fallout from her father, Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) death ruse as she talks to clients and news people on the phone. As viewers will recall, Victoria will do damage control for the family business, while Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will do damage control among family members and friends who were left out of the loop. Victor himself should only be concerned with getting well and focusing on his recovery. Nikki and Vic will handle the rest!

Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) receives a tempting offer from Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) when she is concerned about the part of her inheritance from her late husband Calvin Boudreaux (John Burke) that she is not supposed to touch.

She wants Kevin to launder the money and tells him that he is the only person she trusts to do this job; for a generous portion of the money, of course. Kevin would have a lot to lose if this goes wrong; but he will probably say he’s in if he’s getting a piece of the pie.

At the same time, Chelsea vents to Kevin and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) about the problems with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) because of herself not being in the loop about Victor’s death ruse and Connor having been told his grandpa was dead and now having to be told he’s not dead. Chloe will offer to help, and while Chelsea won’t take her offer to help with Connor, she will offer her a job.

Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will give Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) some advice after he notices his friend is upset about something. Nick will likely confide the rift between himself and Chelsea, after having left her out of the loop on Victor’s death.

He is having difficulty getting her to forgive him for not telling her, because of the effects on her son Connor after having been told his grandpa was dead and now being told he’s not dead! On top of everything else, his birth father, who he had become bonded to, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) left town and Connor is still mourning his stepfather Calvin on top of it.

That’s a lot for a little guy to handle, and while Nick feels terrible about it all, he had no choice. Victor had bound him to secrecy, not wanting anyone to clue Adam in on the ruse! Devon will probably tell Nick to just let Chelsea have her space and be patient.
