British royal family news divulges that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, are showing the world that they are more than their foo-foo titles. Unlike Harry and Meghan who DEMAND to be addressed as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, the real royals are ditching the fancy-schmancy name games because they are real.

It’s a huge changeup in royal protocol but Kate and William are showing that they want to be seen as the relatable adults they are—no hiding behind titles and bowing and scraping. It’s a refreshing change of pace that some say is motivated by their recent Caribbean tour.

An inside source spills that the couple, “want to be more approachable, less formal, less stuffy and break away with a lot of the tradition.” The Sunday Mirror reports that overall William wants to, “move with the times.”

On their Caribbean tour several politicians behaved badly, telling the media that they want to ditch the Commonwealth which is headed by the UK monarch. William apparently listened to the message that the outfit needs to get in line with the times to ensure its survival. One source said, “When the team arrived back in London the couple had a debrief with aides. They went over everything and pinpointed specific things that went wrong and how to improve moving forward.”

The source added, “The general consensus was that the tour seemed out of date, out of touch, too formal and stuffy. So now it’s more ‘Wills and Kate’ instead of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge… ‘Just call me Wills’ type of thing.”

“They want to try to avoid the bows and curtsies in public, be more approachable, less formal, less stuffy, and break away with a lot of the tradition and focus on a modern monarchy.”

William and Kate were said to be alarmed by criticism of their Caribbean tour in March. Some called it a PR disaster. But not because of anything the royals did, as usual they comported themselves with dignity and respect. It was the politicians they visited that breached the line, using the tour as an opportunity to further their own political agendas.

The couple were met with cheering fans in Belize, but forced to alter their landing point due to a few protesters. In Jamaica the worst criticism of the pair seemed to be that they rode, “standing up in an open-top Land Rover during the inaugural Commissioning Parade on March 24.”
