When Calls The Heart: Will There Be A Season 10?

Hallmark Channel has yet to renew When Calls The Heart for season 10 leaving fans in wait as they hope their favorite show will return. Hallmark is notorious for waiting until the last minute to announce what shows will be back for another season.

During season 8 of When Calls The Heart it wasn’t until the near end that Hallmark renewed the show for season 9. Now after an event filled season 9 that is set to air its finale on May 22, there are too many storylines to wrap up and too much more to see when it comes to Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) and Lucas (Chris McNally), as well as the rest of Hope Valley’s beloved characters.  

Will Lucas Pop The Question Before The Season Finale?

Fans are still waiting for Elizabeth and Lucas to become engaged. It appeared as if Lucas was about to pop the question in the May 8th episode but with the devastation about the mines in Hope Valley possibly reopening he didn’t appear to think it was a good time. Elizabeth did spot the red ring box he quickly  put away. 

Judging by Elizabeth’s face and her relationship with Lucas, When Calls The Heart’s leading lady is ready to marry once again. Fans have been anticipating this moment since she announced who she had chosen to be with.

Multiple Storylines Open For Season 10

There is also the storyline of Rosemary (Pascale Hutton) and Lee (Kavan Smith). The pair have been waiting for a child for a long time and eventually they decided it wasn’t going to happen. Then in the May 8th episode, Rosemary started to feel fatigued and crave certain foods. It appears she may finally be pregant. We have yet to see her tell Lee but that is sure to happen soon.

When Calls The Heart also has unfinished storylines left to tell when it comes to who Nathan (Kevin McGarry) will settle down with, as well as what  will happen with Faith (Andrea Brooks). Will Carson (Paul Greene) return? Will she and Nathan find romance or will Mei (Amanda Wong) return to be with Nathan?

Hallmark is sure to announce soon the fate of When Calls The Heart and a possible season 10.
