The Family Chantel returns again for Season 4 and fans see the same old storyline of Pedro Jimeno and Karen Everett’s daughter trying to save their marriage. Actually, some fans grow rather bored with it. However, in the back of their minds, they can’t forget that TLC blatantly shared the big lie at the end of the last season. Recall, that it involved his half-brothers. So, as the show never addressed the fakery, will fans stop watching?

 Family Chantel Spoilers – The Family Chantel Possibly Won’t Address the Big Lie

Spoilers for the new season reveal that it premieres on Monday, June 6th at 8 PM ET/PT on TLC. Once again, fans see that things are volatile in Pedro’s marriage. And, once again, TLC fans see that they will attempt a fix to an apparently irreparable relationship. Of course, these days, fans see more about Chantel’s sisters and Pedro’s toxic family. But, it’s not clear that any sort of explanation for the big lie comes along.

The Family Chantel is possibly the biggest drama out of the entire 90 Day Fiance franchise. However, like any of the various spinoffs, it seems that some fakery comes along. Probably, you recall that last season, Pedro claimed to have never met his half-brothers before. However, a photo that confirmed it was a massive lie emerged. Actually, it showed them together in 2014, and it hasn’t been addressed yet.

 Family Chantel Spoilers – Will Fans Stop Watching The Family Chantel?

90 Day Fiance fans still discuss the lie and this week, u/themostbootiful raised the subject on the r/90dayfiance subreddit. The post questioned how TLC could bring back the show without addressing the “giant plot twist” that turned out to be “a huge lie.” So, the poster said that TLC fans “deserve better.”

It seems interesting that some fans of The Family Chantel said that they won’t watch it anymore. However, a lot of folks just don’t seem to care too much about it. Whilst fans hate fakery, when it comes to all the drama in the family, it seems acceptable

As one fan noted, “For years we’ve known how they film reenactments for stuff that happened while the crew wasn’t there. It can be anything from how they came to be married or when they met someone for the first time. It’s not really a lie in their eyes.”

 Family Chantel Spoilers – TLC Fans Watch It To Escape The Stress Of Everyday Life

The Family Chantel fans seem happy to continue watching the show because it takes their minds off their own problems. As one of them noted, “Most people here like it, and watch it. No hate, I get it. I watch this type of tv to turn my brain off, I don’t care about their lives outside of the show.”

Meanwhile, another follower thinks that people who get all worked up about the big lie are over the top. This comment arrived: “I think people are very unrealistic in demanding everything happen in real time. As if [it’s]some national geographic documentary.”
