B&B spoilers reveal that when Wood first announced her pregnancy, she only stated the child was due in spring 2022. Spring is already here and we are inching toward summer. However, the actress did share on social media last week that she was at the 40-week mark. That means Wood will be having her baby soon, which means Steffy will need to be off-screen for a while.

The actress recently had an interview about the storyline with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) shooting Steffy and killing John “Finn” Finnegan (formerly played by Tanner Novlan). At that time, Wood mentioned that she was still filming new scenes. Wood also stated that she would continue to work “practically” until she gives birth.

With Wood 40 weeks pregnant, she should be going into labor soon! Of course, that means Steffy will need to be written off for a bit. It was assumed that Steffy’s coma would give Wood her maternity leave exit. In a twist, Steffy woke up and has returned home from the hospital. So, how Steffy leaves after she has the baby is unknown at this time.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that today, on Thursday, May 19, 2022, Wood shared a video announcing the baby’s gender. The video begins with Steffy and one of her young sons standing in front of a target. In a beautiful, grassy field, the little boy hugs his mama’s leg tight. Meanwhile, Wood takes her bow and arrow to shoot at a balloon pinned to the target.

When the arrow pierces the balloon, blue confetti comes out. That’s right, Wood is going to have a boy!

B&B Spoilers – Growing Family

Wood and her husband, Elan Ruspoli, will be welcoming their third child. The couple wed in 2018. They currently have two children (soon to be three). Wood and Ruspoli’s other children are Lenix and Rise.
