B&B spoilers for the week of May 23 reveal that Steffy desperately needs love and support. Steffy is devastated over the death of her husband, John “Finn” Finnegan (formerly played by Tanner Novlan). Steffy is also reeling over the fact that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) shot her own son and then tried to kill her multiple times.

It is teased that Liam will give Steffy the love and support she needs in the upcoming week. However, expect Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) to share her concerns about that with Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle).

Brooke and Hope will probably tell Liam that he’s going too far in supporting Steffy. Brooke will remind Liam that he’s not married to Steffy, he’s married to Hope. Of course, Liam will try to give his perspective on the situation and doesn’t intend on walking away from Steffy. This might have Brooke and Hope talking to Steffy directly.

It is also confirmed that Steffy will turn to Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) in her grief. Steffy doesn’t know how to get closure. So, Li might give Steffy some ideas on what to do to help her move on.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Wood just passed her 40^th week of pregnancy. That means Steffy will take her maternity leave soon. How will Steffy be temporarily written out? During the last pregnancy, Steffy got addicted to pain pills and went to rehab. In the pregnancy before that, Steffy went to Paris. So, Steffy could be written out by leaving Los Angeles for a bit.

It would be logical for Steffy to want to leave Los Angeles after Finn’s death. Everything in the house probably reminds Steffy of Finn. In fact, everything in L.A. might be too heartbreaking for Steffy to bear. So, a change in scenery might be what Steffy thinks she needs at this time.

However, there is also the issue that Brooke and Hope have with Liam’s devotion to Steffy. Maybe Brooke and Hope are the ones who make Steffy see that she’s clinging onto Liam too much.

Of course, Steffy would take both of her children. After losing her husband, Steffy won’t be able to bear being apart from her children. However, Steffy will have to share the news with Liam that she’s taking Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) away for a while. Liam will be devastated but will probably understand. However, will his devastation be about Kelly, or will it really be about Steffy?
