Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) claims he wants to redeem himself on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’. Flo Futon (Katrina Bowden) is the opposite. Her kidney donation is anonymous because she isn’t looking to use Katie Logan’s (Heather Tom) health crisis to make amends.

Katie naturally wants to know who offered the dedicated organ gift. B&B fans know that despite Flo’s desire, her identity as the donor will become known. So, why not have the person who gains this knowledge be Thomas?

Flo knew that Phoebe Forrester (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) was Beth Spencer for a longer period of time than Thomas did. She was drawn into the baby steal and conceal scheme by Dr. Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady).

Personal feelings for Brady’s well-played character created a dilemma and enabled her go-along with the plan to sell Beth to Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) for a quarter-million dollars. Taylor believed that she was furthering a so-called private adoption.

Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) thought that she was helping a young mother, believed to be Flo, who wasn’t able to care for her newborn. Flo was initially led to believe the same by Reese, who made it appear as though a mother wasn’t able to care for the little girl who came to be known as Phoebe.

B&B Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Reverted To Form

There were a few fleeting moments where Thomas recognized that how he was living wasn’t right. At least it seemed that way.

Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) bravely told Atkinson’s character that he wanted his old daddy back and that he, Thomas, was his best friend. Thomas broke down while hearing that.

Then, after the cliff fall, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) appeared to get through to Thomas. The acknowledgment of what happened to Emma Barber (Nia Sioux) on Mulholland Drive should have been accompanied by Ridge reporting what happened to the authorities.

But Thomas had his warped view of no-consequence reality reinforced when Ridge chose to remain silent. And Thomas has reverted to bad form ever since.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Needed Change Remains Possible

Having Thomas learn that Flo is Katie’s donor would create a double opportunity. Instead of him using life-changing knowledge as a manipulative tool, as Thomas did in the past, he could do good. Flo’s generosity of heart would be revealed as a result.

Sure, the Logan’s might wonder if there’s a catch to the news. Katie and her family could be cool to Flo, reacting defensively because of all that happened in the Beth-Phoebe storyline. But the news would soften their hearts, either soon after it was learned, or over time.

As for Thomas, he would need to immediately tell what he knew to his father, or even to Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang). No matter anyone’s reaction to what he’d say, at least Thomas would be telling the truth, instead of concealing it.
