General Hospital Spoilers: Billy Miller Scores A Primetime Role In New Thriller

Viewers of “General Hospital” just witnessed Billy Miller, ex-Drew Cain, leave daytime. The actor is keeping himself busy as he scored a major primetime role in an upcoming thriller that also stars Academy Award winner Octavia Spencer.

The new show called “Truth Be Told” also features Aaron Paul, Mekhi Phiper, and Lizzy Caplan. Miller will take on the role of Alex Dunn who is the husband of one of Paul’s twin sisters.

It is based on Kathleen Barber’s novel “Are You Sleeping.” The story revolves around a true crime podcaster Poppy Parnell who played a huge role in convicting Warren Cave of murder.

A few years later, they meet again but this time, Parnell is convinced that she helped lock up an innocent man. Will she managed to track down the real culprit? Can she set the innocent man free?

“Truth be told” is set to premiere on December 6 on Apple+ TV.

GH Spoilers – Miller Exits General Hospital

Miller left “General Hospital” as Drew Cain, but he was originally cast as Jason Morgan, who transformed into Drew after Steve Burton reprised his role. Before leaving Port Charles, Drew’s memories were downloaded into Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). He was also presumed dead after the plane he was on wend down while on its way to Afghanistan.

Franco’s identity crisis, according to the spoilers, will become worse before things get better. New co-head writer Dan O’Connor dropped a few hints on what viewers could expect.

He said, “Franco as Drew’s focus is on the one person that he knows and that is Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) .” The latter will be at a crossroad. She feels extremely attracted to the man who holds Drew’s memories. However, he’s the husband of her best friend.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth Webber‘s (Rebecca Herbst) is on the offensive. She will do whatever she can to save her family. But the question remains. Will she be willing to do something to get back her husband despite its potentially grave consequences?
