General Hospital Rumors: Elizabeth Takes Dark Turn – Victim of Mind Control?

General Hospital: Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst)General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) could take a darker turn as she seeks answers in Shadybrook in future GH episodes. Could Peter August (Wes Ramsey) have somehow programmed her to respond to certain triggers before he died?

General Hospital Spoilers – Elizabeth Baldwin Thought She Saw A Bloodied Peter August On The Roof Of GH

Previous GH episodes revealed that after Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) threw Peter down the stairwell in a rage and thought he’d killed him, Peter appeared to Elizabeth!  Elizabeth was on the roof of the hospital, presumably to lock down the freight elevator that was the only way to get to the sub-basement. He appeared to her bloodied and with a maniacal grin on his face after she and Finn put him in a morgue freezer, supposedly dead.

Later, they found out he wasn’t in the freezer and that could really have been Peter on the roof that day and not Elizabeth’s shock and fear causing her to hallucinate. You have to admit, that apparition she saw telling her not to forget him could have been a hallucination or a mind control version of Peter!

GH Spoilers – Elizabeth Baldwin’s Actions Became More Bizarre After That “Nightmare”

Elizabeth’s “sleepwalking activities” became even more bizarre and dangerous after that “nightmare” with the tall, scary apparition who told her to remember him! She knocked Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) out, apparently, with a sculpture as he tried to check the security cameras which she also disabled. The arson of Franco’s art studio, which is where Peter killed Franco could have been another result of mind control as well as her rescue of her portrait. All these bizarre activities started when she started becoming closer to Finn, and as a result, having more access to him and his little girl, Violet Finn (Jophielle Love). Violet of course is also her niece through her half-sister Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig).

General Hospital Spoilers – “Remember Me” Could Be A Mind Control Command

The phrase “Remember Me” could be a buried mind control command that was implanted in Elizabeth’s mind in such a way that it would manifest at a certain time. It would be meant to cause Elizabeth to carry out a certain mission when that certain time came by means of a trigger. Viewers will remember that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) had been programmed to respond to a trigger, in his case a pen click that would prompt him to “complete the mission”.

Dante became a danger to his family because of his programming, and he would have hallucinations and nightmares of killing Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan)!  This seems very similar to what Elizabeth is experiencing, except she has not yet received pre-programmed kill orders!

GH Spoilers – What Would Peter August’s End Game Have Been For Implanting Mind Control Triggers?

What would Peter’s end game have been for implanting mind control triggers in Elizabeth? Peter wanted revenge on Finn for exposing him to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) at their double wedding that never happened. That is why he poisoned the coffee that Chase wound up drinking instead of Finn; and that revenge would include taking Finn’s child. Finn took away Peter’s chance to be a father to his baby with Maxie; by programming Elizabeth to take revenge in case of his death, she could kill them both. In Shadybrook, Elizabeth’s darker mind controlled side may emerge, and her kill orders may come to the surface!
