They’ll finally decide they have no choice but to let Victoria Newman Locke (Amelia Heinle) go, because she resents their protection, deeming it to be control!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victoria Newman Locke Still Loves Ashland Locke

Recent episodes of Y & R revealed that there has been a reason that Victoria was torn over detaching completely from Ashland Locke (Robert Newman).She realized that she still loves him and she went to see him in his suite at The Grand Phoenix to talk things over. After that talk, she realized that his love for her wasn’t a lie even though so many other things were; and he’d risked his life to save hers.

Moreover, Victoria was shocked that her father would use little Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) as a pawn to force Ashland to leave town by having a restraining order drawn up! She knew his love for the little boy he thought was his own flesh and blood until the truth came out was real, too.

Y & R Spoilers – Showdown At The Not So Okay Newman Corral

Victoria’s family tried an intervention of sorts to make her see that the man she married was a total fraud and it was in her best interests to forget him. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) came up with a scheme to pay him $500 million dollars to divorce Victoria and leave town, never to return! Victoria and her mother, Nikki even went on a short European vacation to try and purge Victoria’s love for Ashland from her heart! But while overseas, Victoria realized she wasn’t able to, and that her love for Ashland was real, and his for her was too! But, most of all, she realized that what her parents and siblings said was love and protection was really control and manipulation, and that it had to stop!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victoria Newman-Locke Shocks Her Family

Victoria shocks her family and especially her parents when she tells them she’s had enough of their manipulation and control, announcing she’s cutting ties with them! Victoria is also stepping down from her once coveted CEO position at Newman Enterprises, and reconciling with her husband, prompting another would-be intervention which she refuses! Needless to say, Victor and Nikki are heartbroken, and try to convince her that the con man has put her under his spell!

Obviously, this kind of talk about the man she loves bristles her even further! And, it solidifies in her mind and heart that cutting ties with her family and starting over with Ashland is the right thing to do!

Y & R Spoilers – After Much Pleading And Cajoling, Her Parents Give Up

After much pleading and cajoling, and trying to break the fantasy that Victoria has allowed to envelop her mind and heart once again, Victor and Nikki realize what they must do. No amount of talking sense into her head is going to work, and they must make a very painful decision. All they can do know is simply let her go, make her mistakes and be there when she comes to her senses and needs their help! Victoria must live her life and when she sees the truth about the monster she’s married, then, and only then, will she return to her family!
